CMA Delivers Best 3PM Annual Conference to Date

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – November 18, 2009 – CMA Association Management (CMA), the full-service association management and event planning firm located in Princeton Junction, NJ, recently managed a successful annual conference for the Third Party Marketers Association (3PM). The 3PM Annual Conference was held from October 28-29, 2009 at the Westin O’Hare in Chicago, Illinois.

CMA handled all aspects of the Conference including speaker arrangements, on-site management, attendee registration and site selection, as well as organizing and executing the annual Member Cocktail Reception and Dinner and Conference program. CMA promoted the Conference through public relations and email communications to generate interest in the event among members and throughout the investment management industry, helping to boost attendance levels and also raise awareness of the association.

3PM is a professional association with more than 70 member organizations that assist in increasing institutional assets for their diverse following of investment manager clients. The association provides a forum for third party marketers to network and discuss issues affecting their businesses and the investment management arena. This year’s Conference was more important than ever as the association is facing a potential ban on the use of placement agents and other third-party solicitors working on behalf of investment advisers seeking to invest public pension plan assets.
