CMA GROWTH INITIATIVES HELP AWARDS PROGRAM THRIVE

Audies® Competition Entries Break Records

Princeton Junction, NJ – February 23, 2009 – With the implementation of continued and effective growth initiatives, CMA Association Management (CMA) has helped the Audio Publishers Association (APA) receive a record number of entries for its annual Audies award program.

This year, over 1,000 entries were submitted to APA for consideration. This number broke last year’s total of 807 and shattered all previous records in the award show’s 14-year history.

The Audies is the only awards program in the United States devoted entirely to honoring spoken word entertainment. Winners will be announced at the Audies gala on May 29, 2009 at the New-York Historical Society in New York City, located in the heart of Manhattan, overlooking Central Park. CMA provides day-to-day association management services for APA, including comprehensive coordination of the Audies judging process, event planning for the Audies gala and promotional efforts for the event.

“Our account team has worked hard over the past several years to perfect the processes that allow our association clients to be successful,” said Jeff Barnhart, CEO of CMA. “There is no question the growth initiatives we have in place brought the association to this point—I commend the team for their efforts.”

CMA works with a variety of associations to provide structured and organized management systems, supported by comprehensive strategic marketing programs and creative communications. Using CMA’s innovative analysis techniques and planning processes, the firm transforms research, industry trends and market forces into compelling positioning messages and creative products that help associations realize their full potential.
