CREATIVE MARKETING ALLIANCE PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER SPEAKS AT ROWAN UNIVERSITY

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – March 13, 2009 – Kaitlin Friedmann, public relations manager at Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), recently discussed the importance of conversation in public relations at Rowan University on March 11, 2009. She addressed approximately 50 students from Rowan’s student chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Friedmann’s business philosophy is simple: “A good PR professional knows the media—what they want to cover, what they have covered—and has the simple ability to have a conversation with key reporters and editors.”

Friedmann was asked to speak to help students apply classroom techniques to real world situations. Email, broadcast services and social media were stressed as ways to support direct media relations and relationship building in the PR industry.

With many years experience in public relations, Friedmann has worked with several major clients and organizations including corporations in the electrotechnology industry, documentary filmmakers, political campaigns and non-profit organizations.
